As part of developing our own orchard in St George Park, we have built a partnership with Fishponds Community Orchard in Thingwall Park Allotments. We are learning from their well established orchard of 20 years how to prune the trees, harvest the apples, mulch and support the trees to thrives, and more generally how to create a flourishing community orchard.
