The Friends of St George Park are applying for Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and other funding to make the east end of the lake and the island into a wildlife sanctuary and provide a walkway. We expect this to include repairs to the surrounding walls and leaks, which are complicated by a main sewer running underneath.
